This Skill manual is designed to complement the work being done within the Irish Rugby Unions' Coach Education Accreditation scheme. It may be viewed in isolation but most benefit will be derived from those coaches who participate in the scheme.

The purpose of the Coaching Guidelines is to stimulate coaches in to designing their own own relevant skills drills, all of which address the key factors model. As once the model is understood, the coaches become self-sufficient in designing their practice sessions.
