He was red carded for a dangerous tackle under law 10.4(j) in the Under-20 Six Nations match between Ireland and England in Athlone on Friday night.
Law 10.4 (b) states, 'A player must not stamp or trample on an opponent'.
Law 10.4 (j) states, 'Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player's feet are still of the ground such that the player's head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground is dangerous play'.
