There are six uncapped players in the Ireland squad for the summer tour to North America that was named this morning. An Emerging Ireland squad has also been selected for the Tblisi Cup in Georgia.

ERIK E SWARTZ
Erik E Swartz PhD, ATC, FNATA is an Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire. His primary research interest involves studying the acute management of athletes with a cervical spine injury.
He has been published in multiple journals and presented his research on state, regional and national levels. He serves on the NFL Head Neck and Spine Committee's Subcommittee on Safety Equipment and Rules and on the NATA Conference Programming Committee.
He is on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Athletic Training and Athletic Training and Sports Health Care Journal. Dr. Swartz was selected to chair the writing group for the NATA Position Statement on the Acute Management of the Cervical Spine Injured Athlete. He was recognized as the EATA 2009 'Research to Reality' presenter, received the Outstanding New Investigator Research Award from the College of Health and Human Services at the University of New Hampshire, and was recognized in 2010 with an Outstanding Alumni Award from the University of Toledo.
In 2011 he was honored with a Fellows designation in the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
